Congratulations to the Men's Cross Country Team: NCHSAA 4A State Runner Up
Kernersville - South View's boys' cross county team surprised everyoneon Saturday, November sixth by exceeding the NCRunners.com prediction of an eighth place finish at the State Championship. The Tigers ran their way right onto the stage, making it the third time since 2002 that South View has been in the top two. It was the South View men's 11th straight trip to the State Championship.
Over the last ten years, the Tiger men have finished in the top five teams six times, top three - four times, top two - three times and won it all in 2003. Considering their 13 straight conference titles, four East Regional titles and four times the runner up at the Regional Championships, the Tiger men have to be considered as one of the most successful North Carolina teams of the 2000s.

Fayetteville - Rumors of the demise of South View Tiger Track and Field
may be a bit premature, as the Tigers had a big day at the 11th Annual Bill Carver Invitational at John Daskal Stadium in Fayetteville on April 3rd. There were plenty of individual honors to go around for the Tigers, but Coach Autry was pleased with the way the team worked together. "It was far from the end all be all of our season, but we wanted to put together a team effort today to see what we could accomplish against some fine teams."
